Disneyworld & Universal Studios
Our 6 year anniversary trip
Spent our 6 year anniversary at Disneyworld and Universal Studios Orlando.
We did a 2 day park hopper to Disneyworld. Our first day we went to Animal Kingdom and Epcot. The next day we spent it at Magical Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
We initially wanted to spend 2 days at Universal Studios but the following day there were thunderstorms that lasted for about 5 hours. It was an amazing thing to witness even though we were stuck in the hotel. We're from California so to see that type of rainstorm was really rare where we come from.
Luckily one day was enough for us to ride majority of the rides at Universal. We made a mistake of not riding the bigger rides first because once we wanted to hit those rides the thunder came again and all outdoor rides were closed. Although it stormed on us 50% of the time, it was still a magical experience. I don't know if I would go again because even though it was raining, the humidity was almost unbearable for me.
